OUR STORY
My father Ken, known as "Epa" by my children, had many interests, hobbies, and skills throughout his short 60 years in this world. He was a fisherman, an amateur radio operator, a television & radio repair technician, an arborist, a private pilot, a boat captain, a machinist, a welder, and an electrical contractor.
Throughout his lifetime, he collected many things while engaged in his various hobbies and businesses. There was always "The Right Tool for The Job" mantra and materials were often bought in bulk. Many of these things had specific purposes while others sat on the shelves waiting to support customers in need. As the years passed, the "Shop" for the family electrical contracting business would grow and provide more room for Ken's possessions.
After Ken's passing in 2009, the family was immediately forced to relocate the "Shop" and deal with much of the unneeded excess. However, what didn't get sold or thrown away was moved to a new location as I continued to run the family's electrical contracting business. Now, 16 years later with Ella out of college and Gabe on his way, it's time to revisit all of these wonderful things as the family business is restructured and downsized. I created this page as a tribute to my father, a way to say goodbye to the past, and a path to rehome three generations' of memories.
